The houses are new.

Their $7.6 million price test is not.

Two Shore properties entered the weekend with 499 combined days on the market behind them. By Sunday morning, their replacement listings showed single digits.

Neither home sold. Neither seller cut the price.

The new townhouse at 7304 Pleasure Avenue South in Sea Isle City expired after 353 days at $3.35 million.

It returned Friday under a new MLS number, carrying the same $3.35 million ask.

The new bayfront home at 8527 Third Avenue in Stone Harbor was withdrawn after 146 days at $4.25 million.

It returned under a new MLS number at the same price.

Both homes spent much of their original marketing lives under construction.
