Avalon added more than $40 million in fresh real estate inventory over the past week, strengthening its position as the most active high-end market along the South Jersey Shore.
Seven new properties combined for $40.175 million in asking value hit the market, according to Cape May County listing records reviewed by Ironside Shore Wire.
The largest arrived at 7146 Ocean Drive with a $9.45 million asking price.

A vacant lot at 7099 Dune Drive followed at $7.495 million, while a seven-bedroom home at 215 60th Street entered the market at $6.795 million.
A home at 188 33rd Street listed for $5.495 million. Two townhouses at 2318 and 2328 Ocean Drive each entered at $3.895 million, while a townhouse at 237 26th Street completed the group at $3.15 million.
Farther south on Seven Mile Island, Stone Harbor added two properties totaling $6.895 million.
Avalon’s burst of supply arrived alongside continued contract activity, following a recent week in which Avalon and Stone Harbor sent more than $50 million under contract.
Four Avalon properties carrying a combined $13.459 million in listing price moved under contract.
They included a $6.295 million home at 36 W. 24th Street, a $4.349 million home at 141 30th Street and a $2.395 million townhouse at 281 68th Street East.
