That’s all it took for two premium Avalon homes to move under contract, according to Cape May County MLS records.
A home at 162 75th Street, listed for $7.25 million, found a buyer after just 18 days on the market. Another at 177 71st Street, listed for $5.75 million, followed in 29 days.
The transactions reinforce a pattern emerging in Avalon this spring: Buyers continue to move quickly when premium homes enter the market at prices that align with current demand.
On the flip side, a host of luxury-priced homes at the Jersey Shore have offered price reductions after sitting on the market for months.
The sale of 177 71st Street is scheduled to close Aug. 18. The sale of 162 75th Street is scheduled to close Oct. 16.
